This Week's ES Ceiling Is Last Week's High
ES's weekly expected move tops out 0.73 points under last week's high. Our Key Levels, the dealing range and the 2Up + PDM setup for Apple, the vote and jobs.
Week Ahead | November 2–6, 2026
Our weekly expected move for ES tops out at 7,818.77. Last week's ES high was 7,819.50. The two lines sit less than one point apart. The expected move is the range the options market prices for the week. Think of it as a fence. Most weeks stay inside it. This week, the top of that fence and last week's top are the same place. That is the first number on our map. Apple reports Monday night. People vote Tuesday. The jobs report lands Friday. We will read all of it through our levels.
Six terms we use
Expected move. The range the options market prices for the week, up or down from Friday's settle. The settle is the official closing price.
Key Levels. The prices we mark before the week starts: last week's high, low and close, plus the weekly open and the month's open.
Dealing range. The box from last week's high to last week's low. The middle of the box is its median.
PDM. The prior day's median. It is the middle of yesterday's range.
UW imbalance. A UW alert fires when price comes back to the edge of a fast move it left behind. It tells you where to look. It does not tell you to trade.
2Up. A day that pokes above the prior day's high or a recent swing high. Then it pulls back to the PDM and bounces. That bounce is the setup we teach.
Where the tools left off
Last week ran from Sunday 6 p.m. ET Oct. 25 to Friday 5 p.m. ET Oct. 30. In that time, our imbalance board sent 177 UW alerts to Discord: 147 hourly, 27 Daily and 3 Weekly. Members get every level and band, and the plan for each day.
