Bonds Take Monday Off, CPI Clocks In Wednesday
Last week's board: 145 UW taps, 151 MedianReclaim tags. Bonds close Monday, banks report Tuesday, CPI hits Wednesday. Weekly expected moves and levels.
Week Ahead | October 12–16, 2026
Last week PonoTrading's imbalance board sent 145 UW taps to Discord: 136 hourly, 7 Daily and 2 Weekly. MedianReclaim sent 151 Daily/Weekly median tags on top of that. Going into Monday, two of those Dailies still frame the index board. The Russell's Daily bear at 2884.2 has capped small caps since Tuesday, and it sits 4 points above RTY's weekly expected-move high of 2,880.10 (computed). NQ's Daily at 31282.5 flipped the other way. It was a floor Wednesday, NQ broke it Thursday, and Friday's high stalled 16 points short of getting it back.
That's the map. Now the clock. The bond market is closed Monday for Columbus Day, but stocks and CME futures trade. The big banks report Tuesday. September CPI hits Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. ET, with the Beige Book that afternoon. PPI and retail sales follow Thursday morning. There are no coupon auctions this week. The 10-year and 30-year auctions that turned yields last week are done, so the rate tape gets CPI without a supply test behind it.
Where the tools left off
All counts come from imbalance-alert-router → Discord receipts: FirstImbalance UW taps from imbalance_uw_events and MedianReclaim tags from median_reclaim_events, deduplicated, Sunday 6 p.m. ET Oct. 4 to Friday 5 p.m. ET Oct. 9. Every one has a Discord message id behind it. We re-ran the counts Sunday morning and they match Saturday's Weekend Review. Since Friday's close the board has sent four hourly taps, all on Bitcoin futures. Nothing new printed on the index, oil or gold board over the weekend.
What's still resting. We checked every Daily and Weekly UW level in our log for ES, NQ, YM, RTY, CL and GC against the futures bars. None is untouched. Every one has been traded
