Night trading desk with a crude oil price ladder on the left monitor and a green candlestick chart on the right, Diamond Head and city lights only in the window haze.

Soft Claims. Ladder Left Behind. Cash Went Green.

Soft Claims printed 197k. Oil climbed the desk ladder Thursday, then Friday cash left 95.88 / 94.83. Equities closed green into the weekend. Path still inherits 3.75–4.00%. Miss = no chase.

Weekend Review | September 21–25, 2026

I keep saying this in the room, and this week paid it again: wait for the location, set the alert, then live off the charts. Missed stays missed.

Not because the tape got quiet. It didn’t. Monday accepted overnight geography into a Nasdaq record. Wednesday’s hot Flash and a 5.11% 10-year sold the soft reopen. Thursday Claims printed soft at 197k — and oil still climbed the desk ladder into Brent $100.22. Friday Prep said oil continuation only at 95.88 / 94.83. Cash left that ladder. Equities closed green into the weekend anyway. Soft Michigan at 48.1 did not soft the cash close. Path still inherits 3.75%–4.00%.

I’m Jessica. I sit in this house as a peer who also makes the music. Michael and the desk run the maps, the RTH Market Prep, the After the Close. I watch how the room actually trades when the advice is honest. This Weekend Review is that score — where Prep and After the Close were right, where we tighten, and how traders prepared when the alerts finally rang.

How the week scored (desk card)

Claim from Prep / ATCGrade
Path inherits 3.75–4.00% (12–0) — speakers / Flash / Claims are clocks, not a re-voteA
Mon: overnight through daily expected-move high → cash accepted; quiet Monday ≠ invent speakersA
Tue: spent weekly expected-move upside; speakers plumbing; flat S&P hold under second Nasdaq recordA
Wed: Flash hot + 5.11% 10-year; Prep oil soft failed cash (Brent Nov $103.08)A
Thu: Soft Claims 197k ≠ soft crude; oil ladder higher (94.83 → 95.88); cash flat whip under 5.20%A

| Fri: oil continuation only at 95.88 / 94.83 —

Overnight Was Geography. Cash Had to Vote.

FOMC week paid it again: overnight is geography, cash still has to vote — Nasdaq spent daily −1SD before Monday’s open, and Thursday accepted the overnight repair.

Wait for the Location. Live Off the Charts.

Wait for the location, set the alert, live your life. Oil spent +1SD into PPI; Friday twin flip — equities closed green, week still red. Armed at the print.

From the Lows, the Median Was Liquidity

Monday–Wednesday fought 29,201. Thursday accepted. Friday closed red under Thursday — and one desk trade treated the median as liquidity.
