Our expected move had NQ's daily low at 29,606.34 this morning, and NQ was under it inside the first minute of the cash session. This morning's prep had NQ holding under Wednesday's low at 29,767.25 and ES back over its own at 7,751.50. It said respect the weak side until it reclaims. NQ never reclaimed. Its cash high was 29,677 at 11:33 a.m. ET, 90.25 points short of Wednesday's low.

ES didn't hold its reclaim at the open either. Its first 5-minute bar closed at 7,737, under the 7,740 overnight low. It dipped to 7,725.25 at 1:54 p.m. and finished at 7,754, back over Wednesday's low by 2.5 points. That's the weak side winning: the ES reclaim gave way at the bell, and NQ never got back.

NQ closed the cash session under its daily expected-move low. The 2x expected move at 29,233.19 held in cash. After the bell, with Amazon out, NQ went through it.

The one index that didn't follow was RTY. The prep said its run over this week's high at 2,856.30 overnight was a fake if it stayed under. It didn't stay under. RTY was back over by 9:32 a.m., went through the top of its daily expected move at 2,864.63 four minutes later and topped at 2,880.20 at 11:34 a.m. NQ and RTY made their highs within a minute of each other and went opposite ways all day.

Our MedianReclaim board marked the ES turn before it showed. ES's prior Weekly median at 7730.375 was tagged at 1:47 p.m., seven minutes before the 7,725.25 low. From there ES ran 28.75 points into the close and finished right on its Daily median at 7754.
