Our expected move still has room over NQ on Fed day. NQ ran Tuesday's high at 29,881.25 at 9:41 p.m. ET and has stayed over it since 1:01 a.m. The daily expected-move top is 30,200.70, about 240 points over NQ's 29,960 at 7:48 a.m. ET. ES is sitting right on its own Tuesday high at 7,772.75. The Fed decides at 2:00 p.m. ET (8:00 a.m. in Hawaii). So does NQ hold Tuesday's high into the decision, or give it back?
Our alert board marked NQ's turns overnight. NQ's hourly bear UW level at 29955.25 was tapped at 11:50 p.m. ET, the same minute NQ made its Asia high at 29,963.50. NQ pulled back to 29,881.75 at 1:01 a.m., half a point over Tuesday's high, and that held. London took it to 29,989.25 at 4:02 a.m. MedianReclaim tagged gold's prior Daily median at 4040.5 at 3:01 a.m., the same minute as gold's overnight low.
