Our board put a sell level on the Nasdaq's overnight high and a buy level on the Russell's overnight low — then September CPI printed hot on core, and the tape went cold. From Tuesday's 6 p.m. ET Globex reopen to Wednesday's 4:00 p.m. cash close, PonoTrading's imbalance board sent 38 hourly setups, 1 Daily, and 1 Weekly to Discord — 40 SENT prints. MedianReclaim added 48 Daily median tags and 16 Weekly median tags (64 SENT rows). Twelve of those UW prints were the overnight hourlies we counted in this morning's prep (Asia 5 · London 7 · 0 Daily · 0 Weekly). The CPI window alone (8:00–9:30 a.m. ET) added 15 hourlies and 1 Daily, plus a MedianReclaim flood of 40 Daily and 12 Weekly tags as rates, FX, and the index board all tagged at once. Ten of the 40 UW prints were on the index board. The levels that mattered: NQ hourly bear 30859.5 (London high), ES hourly bull 7863.25 / bear 7871.5, RTY hourly bull 2798.7, then cash ES bulls 7816.75 and 7780.5, NQ bull 30457.75, and a late YM hourly bear 51812.

Core rose 0.3% on the month and 2.6% on the year against 0.2% and 2.5%. Energy did the headline work (gasoline +9.1%), but core ran hot without needing it. That is the number the bond market traded.
Around those prints, cash sold. From Tuesday's close to Wednesday's close, the S&P 500 fell 86.51 points, or 1.1%, to 7,718.94. The Dow slipped 48.62 points, or 0.1%, to 51,621.48. The Nasdaq dropped 511.51 points, or 1.9%, to 26,692.87. The
