Core Soft. Cash Soft. NFP Ahead.
Core PCE printed soft (+0.2% / +3.0%). Tuesday cash soft. Gold loud above the daily expected-move high; equities inside the new Tuesday-anchored daily field. Soft Claims Thursday — NFP Friday still bookends the week.

Core PCE printed soft — +0.2% month-over-month and +3.0% year-over-year on the BEA August Personal Income and Outlays release — into a week that already had Tuesday cash soft across the majors and soft JOLTS, with Friday’s NFP still the bookend. Headline PCE rose 0.3% m/m and 3.4% y/y. Personal income rose 0.2%; PCE spending jumped 0.9%. Same 8:30 card: BEA’s Q2 GDP third estimate revised real GDP up to +2.2% SAAR from the second estimate’s 1.5% (Q1 revised to +2.5%). ADP at 8:15 printed +90,000 private-sector jobs. Path still inherits the September 16 hike (3.75%–4.00%, 12–0). Soft Claims stays Thursday — wire only. Cash open still has to vote on overnight geography after the inflation print.
Into this Hawaii window the new daily map — anchored to Tuesday’s settle — shows ES, NQ, YM, and RTY inside the daily expected move. Gold flipped from yesterday’s soft sit: last near 4,240 on the Investing board, above the daily expected-move high after Spotter’s overnight GC bear 4222.8. Crude is inside the daily expected move with quarterly still loud. Those stay separate sentences. Investing board into the Hawaii window: ES near 7,757.75 (+0.33%), NQ near 30,730 (+0.38%), YM near 51,860 (+0.31%), RTY near 2,828.70 (−0.02%), GC near 4,239.80 (+1.44%), CL near 90.65 (+1.42%).
RTH Market Prep is the day clock, not a forecast. Wednesday’s job is to mark what Globex already spent on the new Tuesday-anchored daily field — equities inside, gold loud above the daily expected-move high, oil inside daily with quarterly still loud — write size against what is left after Core PCE, and keep sealed path separate from one soft inflation print and Friday’s payrolls. Weekend Review’s operating rule still holds: wait for the location, set the alert, live off the charts.
